HANTEMP Controls CBV Controlled Ball Valves

WESTMONT, IL – The Stainless Steel CBV Controlled Ball Valves are for many industrial refrigeration applications. The companion electronic actuators provide precise modulation of the refrigerant flow, as well as slow opening and closing to reduce line shock. Straight-through flow, compared to globe-style valves, minimizes liquid puddling, and debris collection on the inlet of the valve, while delivering maximum flow. The patented COBRA-NECK® design locates the ISO 5211 F05 standard actuator mount above the potentially ice-encrusted body for easy servicing, and viewing of the valve position. CBV’s are rated up to 800 psig SWP @-70°F and are available in pipe connection sizes from 3/4” up to 3” for industrial refrigeration systems utilizing ammonia, CO2, and other approved refrigerants.

Flexible Industrial Refrigeration Valve Station

WESTMONT, IL – This HANTEMP Controls Stainless Steel RR Flexible Station is a rugged weld-in
unit which easily installs via two pipe welds. Because the assembly includes separate quarterturn service valves, it is easy to Repair in-place or to Remove the flanged compact Stainless Steel Solenoid Valve or Pressure Regulator. The outlet service valve can be specified as a model QSVE expansion/shut-off valve for liquid modulating control. Rating for this Stainless Steel unit is 800 psig and minimum temperature is -70°F.

HANTEMP Controls SGV Stainless Steel Gauge Valve

WESTMONT, IL – The HANTEMP Controls Stainless Steel “gauge” valve is appropriate for corrosion-resistant connection to pressure transducers, stainless steel gauges, pressure switches, and controllers. This valve is very rugged but has a high quality surface texture and general appearance commensurate with instrumentation installations.  Standard connection is 1/4” NPT male X 1/4” FPT female.  Opening stem has Teflon seals and protective Seal Cap which is available with a “no drop” lanyard. While ideal for ammonia, these solenoid valves can also control CO2, fluorinated refrigerants, glycols, pure water, light oils, and other approved liquids. For ammonia refrigeration systems, they can be used for overfeed/recirculating liquid lines, suction lines over 10°F, hot gas lines, high pressure liquid lines and discharge gas lines. Functionally and dimensionally, the S4At replaces similar models from traditional steel & iron valve manufacturers.

broaden usage beyond welding installations.

HANTEMP_Threaded FlangeThe EZWLD line of stainless steel flanges now includes threaded flanges that can be easily
connected to other NPT thread components and piping including brass, iron, aluminum, and plastic. The FPT (female pipe thread) flanges are created using single-point threading, ensuring that the threaded joint will be tight.

Threaded flanges eliminate the need for welding capability and potential hazards. In addition, the stainless steel construction provides superior resistance which eliminates the need for costly surface painting that generally occurs with forged steel threaded flanges.

The SGV features rugged stainless steel construction and is ideal for isolation of pressure gauges and transducers. It will be available for delivery in February 2016.

SGV gauge valveThe valve has been designed to overcome existing gauge valve shortcomings which include vulnerability to corrosion and no back seat for stem seal replacement. Advantages also include wrench flats for easier installation, an easily removable seal cap, and ¼” NPT connections.

The SGV is available with a standard extended body or compact body (SGVC) for a wider range of applications, including pumpout and venting of system components. Approved refrigerants include ammonia and C02, Halocarbons, and secondary refrigerants.
